Thanksgiving Travels

        We decided to go to New Mexico for Thanksgiving so we could take some things off the bucket list. Stephen and I had already planned, months before, to trout fish in Ruidoso. We invited his parents to come along so they could see and do something new.
        We arrived in Ruidoso and fished the river a bit before making our way to The Inn of The Mountain God's where we all gambled away a bit of money. We had made a deal that we would each throw away no more than $10. We all did exactly that except for Bruce who only started with $7. He ended up breaking even or pretty close. I think that he made an extra 10 cents.

      After the casino we went to Grindstone Lake for a bit of trout fishing. We were only there a few hours before we limited out. We headed back to relax the rest of the night at home. Upon arrival I found that my friends had come by and left candy on my doorstep. Nothing better than a great treat after a day of travels. Thanks Imelda!
